Branch Annual General Meeting - POSTPONED

The AGM planned for Wednesday 15th July 2026 at the 12 Degrees (352 High Street, Rochester, ME1 1DJ) has been cancelled due to the England football game. We will schedule a new date and post here as well as sending details by email.

Trip to Moot Brewery - Sat 1st August 2026

Moot Brewery (Court Farm, Pilgrims Rd, Upper Halling, Rochester ME2 1HR - https://mootbrew.co.uk/). The proposal is to get the 11:41 train from Rainham calling at Gillingham (11:49), Chatham (11:53), Rochester (11:56) and Strood (Platform 2) at 11:59 where we change to Platform 3 to get the 12:03 train to Halling which gets there at 12:11. Alternatively there is the 151 bus (see the timetable to get the best option for you to arrive in Halling to meet the 12:11 train group). The walk to the brewery is roughly a mile which should take around 20 minutes.

East Malling Beer Festival - Sat 5th Sept 2026

East Malling Beer and Cider Festival (East Malling Research Centre, New Road, East Malling. ME19 6BJ) The festival is open from 1100 until 1900. Admission is free for card-carrying CAMRA members, or £6 for non-members. Maidstone and Mid Kent branch annual showcase event aiming to have around 70 real ales and 35 ciders and perries on offer along with live music and food vendors. Free hourly shuttle buses from the rail stations at Maidstone East (from 1020), West Malling (from 1030) and Aylesford (from 1035). Buses to/from West Malling station will also call at Lunsford Lane End and Wealden Hall on the A20. Parking is available on site, but please don't drink and drive.
